This show was presented by the Museum of History and Industry
in partnership with The Frederickson Classics™, Seattle Drives
Ford: A Century of Cars and a City and provided an
entertaining and historic look at the Ford automobile, the Ford
company, and the connections to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest.
By using museum quality standards, the presentation of automobiles
along with historic and informative text and photos enhanced
the viewing experience for those who salute the history and design
of the automobile, with particular emphasis on Ford.
The highest quality original and restored
automobiles, spanning the one hundred years of Ford, were on
loan from private collectors and dealerships throughout the
Northwest. Wherever possible, the history of the selected vehicles
was also presented so that the visitor could make their own
connection to the exhibit which was on display at the Museum
of History and Industry.
